Brad is a Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. He acts as a supervisor for our team of trained coaches who are not counselors. While Brad occasionally will offer counseling services online to people from Pennsylvania, the majority of what we do is coaching. Due to the nature of marriage coaching, insurance reimbursement is not available.
The goal of coaching is to help you identify places where you are stuck and how to overcome those issues. It tends to look at your hear and now and help you grow to a new tomorrow. While we may help you uncover your past trauma, it is for the purpose of helping you to overcome your current challenges. Counseling on the other hand tends to focus on mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. As coaches we do not diagnosis mental health issues, and if needed would refer you to your doctor or a local counselor. We find that many individual, couples and relationship issues can be addressed by coaching.
